Auditor Role

What is the Auditor Role?

The Auditor role is a critical component within the Athenic AI ecosystem, designed to uphold the integrity and accuracy of the analytical results produced by the platform. Auditors are tasked with reviewing results that are flagged as potentially erroneous or dubious. Their expertise is crucial in identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the data analysis process. By engaging in AI Training for specific questions that yield questionable results, Auditors can fine-tune the AI's understanding and improve the overall quality of insights generated. This role is not only about correcting errors but also about enhancing the AI's learning, ensuring that the system continuously evolves and becomes more adept at providing precise and reliable data interpretations.

How does the Auditor Role work?

The Auditor serves as the gatekeeper of data quality, providing an essential layer of scrutiny to the analytical process. In any organization, varying levels of familiarity with the data can lead to misinterpretations or oversight. Athenic AI acknowledges this by incorporating a mechanism that allows any user to flag results that seem off, thereby invoking the Auditor's expertise. The Auditor then steps in to conduct a thorough review, leveraging their deep understanding of the data and the context in which it is used. This role streamlines the quality assurance (QA) process, making it more efficient and effective. By systematically addressing flagged issues, the Auditor ensures that the team can rely on the data and the insights derived from it, fostering confidence in the outputs from the Athenic platform.

How do you use the Auditor Role?

Initially, when setting up Athenic AI for a team, users will designate one or more individuals to take on the Auditor role. This is done through the Team Settings page, where users can edit roles by clicking on the three dots adjacent to a team member's name and selecting "Edit Role." As team members engage with Athenic AI and encounter results that require further scrutiny, they can easily click the “Flag for Review” button. This action adds the question to the Auditor's queue, signaling that a review is necessary. The Auditor then examines the flagged content, applying their expertise to validate the results or to provide additional training to the AI as needed. For our Enterprise customers, we provide additional auditor support as part of our service.

Examples of the Auditor Role

The Auditor role is seamlessly integrated into the user experience of Athenic AI. For instance, if you pose a question and receive results that raise doubts, you have the immediate option to flag the outcome for review. This action sends the question, along with its associated results, to any team member designated with the Auditor role. It also marks the item for review in your history tab, creating a clear record of the query and the need for further examination. To provide context for the Auditor, you can attach a comment explaining your rationale for flagging the question. To flag a question, you simply click the "Flag for Review" button located at the top of your results section, ensuring that the Auditor is alerted and can take the necessary steps to verify or correct the information provided.
